Monuments

This series depicts the functional elements of older buildings and recognizable monuments. Items such as lights, furniture, door knobs and cords were not part of the original design or vision of the architecture. But, today, they are crucial to the functionality of the spaces. Such modern day elements will eventually become artifacts and perhaps worthy of visual investigation in the future.
